Bart started his professional career in high school as a catcher in his first year. He led his high school team to many victories.
His team won the Georgia Class 4A State Championship and ranked 8th in the MaxPreps National Poll.
The Tampa Bay Rays selected Bart in the 27th round of the 2015 MLB Draft. Unfortunately, he decided not to quit school and left the choice.

He played collegiate summer baseball his first year and was named a league All-Star by the officials.
Because of his excellent skills and talent, Bart won the Johnny Bench Award watch list in his sophomore year.
HE SUFFERED A FINGER INJURY IN HIS SOPHOMORE SEASON AND MISSED OUT ON 11 GAMES.
After recovery, Bart played for the United States national collegiate baseball team and returned to the CCBL to play with the Harwich Mariners.
In junior year, Bart was named to the Golden Spikes Award watch list and the Atlantic Coast Conference’s Baseball Player of the Year.
MLB Draft
In the 2018 MLB draft, the San Francisco Giants selected Bart second overall and signed a deal for $7,025,000. It was the most significant signing bonus ever for a position player.
Bart trained in Scottsdale, Arizona, the facility of the club. After completion of training, Bart debuted as a professional baseball player with Salem-Keizer Volcanoes of the Class A-Short Season Northwest League.
