Philadelphia Phillies

Madson played baseball, but he made his debut in MLB in 2003 September. Besides, he started playing for the Philadelphia Phillies. Ryan was selected in the 9th round of MLB in 1998.

In 2005, Madson finished with an earned run average of 4.14 in 87 innings. However, he was just a starting pitcher until 2006.

But he got his big career break in 2008. Ryan became part of the “bridge to Lidge.” This achievement boosted his willpower to do something. As a result, he started performing really well in every game.
