Sean McVay, the youngest head coach in NFL history, was born in the city of Dayton, Ohio, the United States of America.

He is the son of his father, Tim McVay, and mother, Cindy McVay. Likewise, his father, Sean, was a football player and played as a defensive back at Indiana University.

Not to mention, even his grandfather, John McVay, used to be a head coach at the University of Dayton from 1965 to 1972.

Later in the 1970s, he served as the general manager of the New York Giants and worked as general manager of the San Francisco 49ers for the team’s five Super Bowl championships during the 1980 and 1990s. 

Similarly, McVay’s family lived in Dayton till Sean was six years old and moved to Georgia. There he graduated from Marist School, located in Brookhaven, in 2004.
